Its October!

Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

This year finally manage to convince him to join me for the pink ribbon walk.

*not only female get breast cancer mind u.

I do encounter cases where male are diagnosed with breast cancer. 

When i first started, i too thought it was funny.

But now no joke. Everyone is at risk.

Not only for breast cancer but any other conditions. 

So ppl do not take things for granted.

I do encounter cases where patient have no background of any cancer in family history but was diagnosed. 

With the new environment of stress and exposure to many unhealthy habits and radiation, we are seriously at risk. 

Now.

This year is my 4th year joining.

But 1st time as participate.

Past few years as volunteer 

So this year its a 3.2km walk. 

I was hoping it could happen.

The 1st thing i check when i woke up was the PSI.

The weather this days aint that well.

Im thankful that the organisers kept up posted via facebook n sms.

However the case, i was determine to walk no matter if there a haze.

So we decided to just wear our shirt n go for the carnival.

We manage to finish the route. Though not abreast with other participants n survivor due to haze of PSI>200

I was happy he was there to accommodate my crazy hyper self

The carnival was still on going. So free goodies n Milo Van.

The only thing he look forward to.

So after

Trick Eye Museum & Dolphin Island

So 30th July last year,

4days Belated 1000th Daysary together.

It was a totally impromtu decision. 

 Initially we just wana spent time buy the beach or just hang ard adventurecove.

Due the disappointing weather. 

We decide to walk ard the RWS and since have tickets for the trick eye museum in my wallet. Why not take the opportunity  right?

Especially with our busy schedule.

(Btw i love buying groupon deals with multiple tickets of attraction. Thats why i have tickets in my wallet. If i remember i have it then i get to use it. If not... lets just not think about it.)

Feeling Christmas in july.

Hopefully 1 day i can do this for real.

Its really interesting how we can use angle and all our creativity to get all this pics.

I must admit im impress wit all the setup available.

How i wish we had 1 cameraman to talk those setup that we could take pics as couple.

*Trust me. Your selfie stick is useless here.

And i recommend you to go on non peak hours if u can.

If u see any tour group entering or there is a queue outside. 

Forget it comback next time.

Its not that spacious in there. 

If there is a queue, chances are you are gona have a foot or shadows in the pic.

If you are the  creative type who wana try different poses. 

Be prepared for many pairs of eyes staring and rolling at you and pretend u never hear anything. 

Yup!

So after the trickeye, when to uss for lunch and get churros craving fixed.

 Nil Dips but to me its worth it.

1 freaking long stick less that 5 buck. But if u go to cafe and all other fancy places. They charge u more than 5 bucks with the tiny little dips by the side.

So finally, after the rain the sun came out.

We decided to go to adventure cove instead of the beach. 

Point was. If the rain comes back. We at least have shelter in ACP.

So as usual, got our cabana and all.

But this visit i realised another good deal.

They were having a promotion  for the dolphin island.

(I think the promotion is still going on)

Wuth $50 you can interact with dolphins.

And since it was our 1000th daysary.

 We were like....

Oh why not.

And i get to strike one 1 thing on my to do list b4 i die. Lol.

 So they have a few different session daily. 

Since it was almost 3++ when we enter ACP.

So we decided to go for the second last session.

 

So before anything,  they will get you to sign the indemnity form and such.

Then your go over to collect ur wetsuit before another briefing and introduction to the dolphin. 

Thats where they share so many facts about the dolphin but ur just to excited to retain any information. 

 

After about 15mins of talking...

We finally get into the water. 

 Firstly they will explain the Do and Dont for your safety n also for the dolphin's safety. 

Its better to go in groups of 4-5 ppl as u dun have to pair up with other stranger which will make u awkward at times during the session.

So during the session u get to do 2 individual interaction with the dolphin.

1. Sing with the dolphin 

2. Play fetch with the dolphin  (the one i chose)

3. Dance with the dolphin  (the one love chose and 

the one with the nicest pic with the dolphin )

4. Kiss the dolphin (*everyone get to do it)

Yup.

Then the trainer will do some tricks with the dolphin like ur own private show and u get to splash around with them and the rest of groupmates.

Then u say goodbye to them. 

That was it.

To be honest. Each sesssion is 1 1/2 hour.

But after all the briefing n changing.

Ur left with ard 45 mins.

And that quite a short time frame if u have more ppl in your group.

 The session came to an end so freakung fast.

But i did had fun creating memories with Love.

During the Ramadan,
As usual we try our Best to meet up with all our pals.
Its either lepak at our usual place or trying out new places together.
This Ramadan we anonymously agree to meet up at Fika Cafe.

I know there are two of them. One is at Arab Street and another is at
Millenia Walk.
My friends decided to go to millenia walk as it was more central(bugis n cityhall, not much diff to me actually).

Anyways, It was my 2nd time there but 1st time for Millenia Walk.
Quite a number of different esp in menu.

Not full strength  but this will do.

Adventure Cove Sentosa

 So on the 1st March...

Me and my friends kinda had an impromptu outing.

It was quite last minute as usually it takes us weeks to plan for an outing due to our busy school and internship schedule.

so about less than a week before we had a gathering for Nabiha Birthday.

it was just a random idea of going swimming.

And it became a plan. 

So meet up early in the morning but a few were still late as usual.
As it was my second time there.

I kinda became the tour guide of the day.

As u can see instead of taking the express Skytrain with entrance fee of $3.50
We budget a bit.
We walk along the Sentosa Boardwalk.
So we only had to pay entrance fee of $1

*save $2.50 *

To be honest. if you are with a group of happening friends.
its better to use the Boardwalk as the have travelator available.
so you dont actually have to walk much.
Use the opportunity to take pics for memories like us.

*We love to Cam-whore*

We got our tickets and off we go for tons of Fun

 We all have change into out swimming outfit!

There are quite a number of water slides.
I wish they have a elevator or something as the slide really make you have a workout up the stairs.
But that are all worth the extra workout.
But my only suggestion. Dont take the Rocket ride 1st.

Once you have taken that ride. your expectation of all the other rides will be disappointing as the ride is FREAKING AWESOME!
*So be prepared to queue up for at least 1/2 an hour*

Instead of just the water-slides,
In Adventure cove they also have other attraction like Snorkeling.

So for those who have never snorkel. Here's ur chance!
or afraid u will drown(there are lifeguards every few meter. u will see a lifeguard o matter where u swim.), 

Its a good experience for 1st timer.

But for those who have snorkel in the real ocean. I duno if you will feel the way i did.
Its kinda disappointing to me.

But most of my friends and family members enjoyed it.

 After half day of Fun.
Its time to Charge!

So as u can see we brought our own food as the are no halal food there.
There are snacks and drinks available at the cute Shops. but they are way too over-priced.
My friend paid $3*if im not wrong* for a bottle of 100plus.
So yea. next time bring your own. our u can just buy drinks from giant.
A 1.5L of Mineral water cost less than a $1 there..
Or for convenience, you can get packet drinks instead.

 The place is design a way as if you are having ur own private beach. or if u wan to see stingrays.
You can seat at the Stingray Bay. thats a very nice view.
So after ur light meal. you can start lepak-ing like we did!

We didnt take much photo while swimming.
But for those who wants pics.
not to worry. Camera man are all over the park.
they even have underwater photo taking for u to buy for memories.
esp. at the wave pool.
